Customer's Challenge
The primary challenge for Stay City in York was the requirement for high-performance acoustic isolation between guest rooms and hallways. After all, in a busy hotel environment, stopping sound transfer is critical for guest comfort. Additionally, the project required a structural shell that could support modern hospitality finishes while adhering to a strict build schedule.
Our Solution
We executed a specialist interior package starting with the installation of SFS (Structural Framing System) and Metal Stud & Dry lining Partitions. This defined the building’s core structure before we moved on to stopping sound transfer throughout the rooms and hallways. To meet the strict noise-reduction requirements, we installed specialist acoustic liners and acoustic MF Ceilings.
We also fitted high-quality wall liners to improve the overall building shell. Finally, our team completed a comprehensive plastering package, leaving every surface perfectly smooth and ready for the final hotel decoration.
