Customer's Challenge
The primary challenge for Fairway Court in Leeds was the requirement for high-performance acoustic isolation between individual apartment units and communal hallways. In a high-density residential environment, stopping sound transfer is critical for resident privacy and comfort. Additionally, the project required a structural internal layout that could support modern apartment finishes. Furthermore, we were adhering to a strict build schedule which presents its own challenges
Our Solution
We executed a specialist interior package focused on sound reduction and structural efficiency. Firstly, we installed high-performance Metal Stud & Dry lining Partitions to define the apartment layouts. To meet the strict noise-reduction requirements, we then integrated specialist acoustic liners and acoustic MF Ceilings. As a result, we managed to stop sound transfer throughout the living spaces and hallways.
We also fitted high-quality wall liners to improve the overall building shell and provide a clean surface for the following trades. This turnkey approach ensured that the apartments were both acoustically sound and aesthetically ready for the final residential finishes.
