Customer's Challenge
The primary challenge for Marshfield School was the acoustic environment within the large dining area. High noise levels and echoes were making the space uncomfortable for students and staff during busy periods. Furthermore, the area suffered from heat loss, requiring a solution that could both dampen sound and improve the building’s thermal efficiency.
Our Solution
Our team delivered a multi-purpose ceiling package designed for performance and comfort. We installed a high-specification Suspended Ceilings system throughout the dining hall. To address the noise and temperature issues, we integrated specialist insulation that acts as both an acoustic absorber to stop echoes and a thermal barrier to keep the area warm.
To complete the transformation, our team managed the electrics, installing 600x600mm LED lights into the new ceiling grid. This turnkey approach provided the school with a bright, quiet, and energy-efficient space that significantly improved the lunchtime experience for everyone involved.
